Maritime Furniture and Military Furniture - Empire style furniture

Nautical furniture and Regency furniture
Nautical furniture is doing particularly well in the maritime living room. Often they are beautiful Regency furniture, refined with fine shell inlays. Regency was the time after the Georgian era, when King George III was so ill that his still minor son had to take over his role as regent before he ascended to the throne after the king's death as George IV himself. Regency furniture is classic furniture, so they are strongly tied to ancient structures. However, the imperial influence is also noticeable in the Regency furniture: Structures from the architecture of the conquered and newly discovered countries were taken over, for example from Egypt and China. Some of these structures can also be found in the specially nautical furniture.
Maritime decorations and maritime furniture
Of course, maritime decorations also include maritime decorations. The maritime furniture is mostly built similar to the military furniture: straight, compact, with metal fittings and sometimes in two different wood colors, light and dark. Charming maritime decorations, such as model ships, globes, fishing nets, knot boards, compasses, telescopes, ship bells, lamps and, of course, the classic red and white lifebuoy, fit in with these military-looking wooden furniture. All these maritime decorations are characterized by an authentic design, but are new and in good condition. The same applies of course to the fine maritime furniture.
