Variety with classic desk lamps: Art Deco lamps and more
The variety that classic desk lamps offer is huge. Especially versatile and chic are Art Deco lamps. They come from the 1920s and 30s and are often made of chrome, aluminum, bakelite and frosted glass. Some specimens even contain marble and bronze. However, you can find them mainly in the main category "lamps". This is just a selection of our finest classic desk lamps, including the Art Deco lamps. You can use these lamps for a variety of styles. On a classic mahogany desk or Campaign furniture they certainly look as beautiful as on an Art Deco or Bauhaus desk since Art Deco lamps are just versatile.
Classic banker lamp also as a Tiffany desk lamp
A classic from the banks and offices from the United States at the beginning of the 20th century is the classic banker's lamp which is very popular today. It came quite early across the sea to England, where it is still often used. The classic banker's lamp has an elongated green glass shade with a white inner side and a brass base. Over the years, however, various classic banker‘s lamps have developed from the original: those with a chromed base and a blue or orange shade, for example. And some very special specimens were created as a Tiffany desk lamp in banker’s lamp style. Basically, these Tiffany desk lamps look like banker's lamps, but have a typical Tiffany glass shade, which is characterized by its mosaic of many colourful pieces of glass, which are soldered to each other.
