Spoilt for Choice - kingsize bed or queensize bed
If it is not the conventional single bed, one distinguishes between queensize bed and kingsize bed which are the two most common English beds. If we assume that only one person is meant to sleep in it, the name is easy to explain: The queensize bed is appropriate for a queen with 140-160 cm width, while the king size bed with a width of 200 cm is considered a worthy bed for the king. Please do not misunderstand us, that does not mean that women are worth less than men, but the terms come from a time when this was just the case. After all, we are offering genuine antique furniture. The queen size bed can be used as a double bed, especially in a very small bedroom. However, if you have more space, we recommend the king bed for you and your partner.
