Antique two-door wardrobes and linen press wardrobes
Antique two-door wardrobes are especially popular pieces. They are the most typical kind of wardrobes and offer just the right amount of space for most people. If you do not have much space in your room and do not need a particularly large wardrobe you can take a narrow two-door wardrobe of fine quality. But if you want a more extravagant wardrobe you can go for the more spacious linen press wardrobes which offer plenty of storage space for your clothes and accessories. Many of these wardrobes are decorated with ornaments and carvings, making the antique linen press wardrobes a special highlight in your bedroom. Both the two-door wardrobe and the linen press wardrobe are to be found with various high-grade solid woods. These are extremely durable while being attractive and special in different ways.
Large variety of antique wardrobes
Besides the common two-door and the linen press wardrobes there is an extremely large variety of antique wardrobes with a perfect example for everyone. From the narrow one-door wardrobe with simple oak wood, pretty inlays and a mirror to the large antique wardrobe with four doors and no mirror or decoration at all but gorgeous mahogany or walnut grain all over – the range is amazingly huge. Most antique wardrobes have a finely designed cornice and gable. Some have lovely crossbandings of higher or darker wood and others have pretty inlay motifs that show a flower, shell, leaf, bird or some ornaments. Some are strongly carved, other antique wardrobes are not carved at all. The variety of well-preserved, beautiful and sturdy wardrobes that habe endured over years is immense and allows even the pickiest person to find the right piece for him- or herself.
