Maritime lamps - nautical lamps
One of the most important pieces of furniture on a ship was probably the lighting. Because at night on the sea it could certainly be very dark. And when a storm or other emergency situation occurred, in which the sailors and the captain were to secure the situation on and below deck, light was indispensable. Luckily, there were various maritime lamps and nautical lamps that were perfectly adapted to the nautical life. Mostly it was kerosene lamps to hang. Nautical lamps and English kerosene lamps
We offer great authentic nautical lamps and English kerosene lamps of various kinds. Most are small hanging lanterns modeled after the original antique style of the nautical lamps and English kerosene lamps, also some bank lamp models and some metal overhead lamps. However, we are particularly proud of the beautiful English kerosene lamps and nautical lamps, because while some are still running authentically with kerosene, some models are electric, which makes them a lot safer, more environmentally friendly and of course cheaper. Some special models are the original replica starboard, port and anchor lamps. Again, there are real petroleum burners and electrical variants.
Maritime lamps: Great English table lamps and more
Our maritime lamps are mostly ordinary modern lamps that contain stylistic elements of nautical. Most of them are English table lamps. Some English table lamps are based on the classic ropes: a solid ship dew serves as a chic lamp base. In some maritime lamps, the lamp base represents a steering wheel, an anchor, a telegraph, a sailing ship or a fish. The lampshade to these English table lamps in the maritime style is usually plain white. Some models are so-called tripod lamps, so floor lamps whose foot is a tripod. These maritime lamps are particularly well suited to fill a spacious barren room with something decorative and luminous and make it more comfortable. Furthermore, all these gorgeous lamp elements are of course great decorative elements for your home.
