antikes Set aus sechs 6 geschnitzten Eichenküchenstühlen
Attractive antique set of six carved oak dining chairs.
a lovely oak set of chairs. we date this chair set to the early 20th century.
the chairs each sit on two well turned legs at the front and two backwards splayed oblong section legs at the rear. the legs are braced by stretchers to the bottom of the legs.
the rear legs continue up to form the backrest side supports.
the chairs are upholstered in a heavy woven patterned navy material. although usable, the material may benefit from being replaced at some point in the future.
the side chairs have a height of 35" (89cm), a width of 20" (51cm), a seat depth of 16" (41cm), a backrest height of 17" (43cm) and a seat height of 18.5" (47cm).
the carver chairs have a height of 38" (97cm), a width of 24" (61cm), a seat depth of 16" (41cm), a backrest height of 20" (51cm) and a seat height of 19" (49cm).
this lovely vintage oak chair set has been constructed to a high standard and remains in a good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. the material on the chairs are showing a bit of wear with some minor staining and mellowing to the edges. there are some minor usage indentations to the frames of the chairs and there is a little mellowing to the finish on the chairs.
this remains a very stylish and elegant chair set. they will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
