English sideboards and antique sideboards
English sideboards and antique sideboards are primarily sideboards with doors and compartments for table linen, silverware and the like, sometimes they are equipped with drawers as well. In former times one understood under the English Sideboard a small table, which stood in the dining room on the wall and served for storing food and thus contributed to the relief of the dining table. Today, english sideboards and antique sideboards are indispensable because they can be used everywhere: whether it is in the living room, in the bedroom, in the kitchen or in the hall, English sideboards and antique sideboards are practical and beautiful to look at. Everything can be stored well and invisibly. Our English sideboards combine a great look and their utility as storage space.

Antique sideboards after Sheraton, Hepplewhite and Adam
Around 1770 it was discovered that it would be more practical if the sideboard was still equipped with drawers, similar to a chest of drawers but still distinguished. Throughout the nineteenth century, the best-known British designers such as Sheraton, Hepple-White and Adam designed and built such sideboards. Their original antique sideboards are still well known and popular among experts and fans and extremely valuable. Some designers were inspired by them and designed similar antique sideboards in the style of Sheraton, Hepplewhite and Adam which are less expensive but still very popular as well. We offer both original sideboards and sideboards which have been created in their style by other capable designers.
Antique and English Side tables
Antique and English side tables are probably one of the most collected English antique furniture pieces. Originally, side tables were used as a serving table, but were pretty heavy because they were made of oak. Antique and English side tables look very similar to sideboards except the fact that they are not equipped with doors, but often have a drawer beneath the tabletop. Antique and English side tables cannot be used as tables because they were not made for this purpose, but they are very useful if they are used as sideboards.
