Here we have an excellent variety of antique sofas, including antique Chesterfield sofas. These beautiful antiques surely look great in an antique or classic interior design, whether you choose fabric or leather. Some have to get reupholstered, and you can often choose the fabric yourself. Antique leather sofas versus antique fabric sofas
Our antique sofas come from all over the world, but most of them come from England and France. The variety is correspondingly large and apart from an almost infinite color palette, there is also the distinction between antique leather sofas and antique fabric sofas. It's mainly the Chesterfields that we call antique leather sofas, but not only. Furthermore we offer a wide selection of antique fabric sofas in different colors and patterns, many with a noble frame and wooden legs, mostly in walnut and mahogany. Everyone has their preference for sofas: fabric or leather? Both have several advantages and disadvantages. English sofas and antique chaiselongues
We already mentioned that we mainly offer a fine assortment of antique sofas. But as you have probably already seen we also offer some antique chaiselongues, and these come, as the French name suggests, from France. These stylish antique sofa-like pieces of furniture are rarely found in modern homes today, even though there is a wonderufl variety of both English and French chaiselongues. They are generally made of fabric and solid wood, some have castors on the ends of their legs or feet and some have a typical recamiere-like break in the middle while others are consistent. No matter how they look like, the antique chaiselongue looks good in a classically stylish room and exudes dignified charm and elegance. Some can also be used as a lovely extra in a modern interior style, that is up to you.
